The Junior World Cycling Championships have finished with the people of Aguascalientes taking the Aussies to there hearts, with all members of the Australian Cycling Team becoming real celebrities in the large industrial city that lies around 500km to the north of Mexico City.

The FRF Couriers NSWIS team continues to dominate the Australian National Road Series. The prestigious series continues in the tour of the Murray next week. Weekend results at the Australian Grand Prix saw Pete McDonald win the criterium and finish second overall. This win follows up Chris Jory’s 2nd overall in the Tour of Gippsland.

Australian U23 champion Wesley Sulzberger has continued his form this season to finish 3rd in the opening stage of the UCI 2.1 Tour of Ireland.
The stage win went to Unibet’s Stij Vandenberg ahead of America’s Aaron Olson. Sulberger was part of a break away which had gone clear approximately seventy kilometres after the start in Kilkenny and with most of the major teams represented, the peloton was content to ease back.
