Pro Continental Teams FRF-NSWIS, Ord Minnett and Praties Cycle Team will contest the teams division of the 47th Grafton to Inverell Classic on 15 September, with riders from South Australia.com-AIS and the Victorial Institute of Sport have also entering the NRS event hoping to survive the grueling course and capitalise on the major prize money on offer by the event sponsors.

Over 110 students from the Western Region made their way to Victoria Park, chilly Ballarat for the 7th of the VSCC Zone Finals. Although it was extremely windy and cold day, all students competed at such a high level, even with the rough conditions. The Ballarat & Sebastopol Cycling Club put on a fantastic day, with many officials and supporters of the club coming down to host the event.

Victorians to tackle the Tour of Britain

The team for the upcoming Tour of Britain has been confirmed. SouthAustralia.com-AIS riders and Victorians Simon Clarke, Zakkari Dempster and Johnnie Walker with team with Gene Bates and Wesley Sulzberger to contest the seven day event which kicks off this Sunday with a 2.5km prologue at London’s Crystal Palace Park.

Victoria gets women’s track series

CycleSport Victoria has announced a Women’s Track Cycling Skills Series which will aim to increase skill and ability levels of current Victorian female cyclists, giving them new found confidence to begin track racing on the Victorian club and open level scene.
