The Loxton Traders Trophy race was held on Sunday with an impressive number of nominations. Regular race contenders competed along with riders making their return to the local racing scene; including John Dalzell, Claire Treilibs our talented junior, Matthew Benson and visiting rider Ben Kaethner.

A record number of entrants will hit the roads of south-east Melbourne this weekend to contest the 2007 Victorian Masters Road Championships.
The event kicks off on Saturday at 11am in Darnum with the Time Trial Championships, which will feature 70 starters - almost a 50% increase on ‘06 figures - whilst on Sunday, 112 entrants - up from 94 last year - will take to the 17km course in Shady Creek for the Road championships.

Australia’s own Sam Hill has defended his World downhill crown in Fort William, Scotland with a comanding win in cold conditions.
Sam Hill was definitely the man to beat in the elite men’s downhill. This year he has proven that he can win on wet tracks, dry ones, long or short. However, he did not qualify well, and 2003 world champ Greg Minnaar (South Africa) rode an extremely strong qualifier.

Cycling NSW is proud to announce the dates and program of events for the 2008 National Masters Championships.
“The 2008 Masters Championships will build on the growing numbers of Masters cyclists currently entering the sport. ” said Kerry Ruffles, Cycling NSW president.

Phil Diesel recorded back to back wins with a timely sprint in the final race of the Port Kennedy Cycles Handicap Series.
The race run by the Peel Cycling Club with support from Port Kennedy Cycles was held on the Serpentine circuit covering 45 kms.
