Cycling NSW’s Board of management last night (26th September 2007) approved Cycling NSW’s Summer Race calendar.

Australia’s athletes are on a mission with the Beijing Olympics on in August 2008. Cycling NSW expects to see many of its top International riders competing in Sydney this summer as they vie for positions on the Olympic team. The World Track Cup scheduled for late November/early December is assured of attracting the highest number of International stars yet seen in Sydney outside of the Olympics as they too will be using this important event to cement their places in their respective Olympic teams.

The summer program is jammed packed. We have endeavored to accommodate most promoters wishes. We apologize if we have been unable to accommodate all.

Members should note the summer track season will commence with the season opener Illawarra Track carnival scheduled for Saturday 30th October 2007 to be followed by the Category 1 Wagga Wagga Golden Wheelrace Open on the 3rd & 4th November 2007.  For complete details please refer to the Cycling NSW website.
