Bike King take out A Grade Gunnedah to Tamworth

After missing the placing on the Saturday, in the Keegan Downes Memorial Sundowner Handicap, the continental Bike King team were eager to made amends in the Sundays Gunnedah to Tamworth Division 1 Scratch race. Lead by the experience of Grafton to Inverell winner Cameron Hughes and Peter Milostic, Bike King where eager to break up the race and avoid a sprint finish that might suit the FRF/nswis, Budget Forklifts, and NSWIS teams.

After a number of attacks the winning move came near Werris Creek when Chris Pryor & Peter Milostic of Bike King got clear with Dale Scarfe (FRF/NSWIS) and Blair Martin (KOM). With the rest of the field disqualified for crossing the road’

s centre line, the 4 man break settled down the fight out the finish, with Bike King using the numbers to get Chris Pryor away for a deserving win. Scarfe (FRF/NSWIS) leading Milostic (Bike King) home for second.
